Lithops is a unique and original succulent from the Aizaceae family, possessing unique decorative qualities. The plant is native to the sandy and rocky deserts of South Africa, Botswana and Namibia in the Southern and Southeastern parts of Africa.
Lithops earthy is one of the most common species. This species is almost unrelated to all other species of the genus. A pair of leaves is often small and compact, oval when viewed from above, curved in profile. The sides are gray or brown, the face is smooth, from grayish-brown to purplish-green or warm bronze with an orange tinge. The windows are in the form of numerous spots on the face, the shoulders are usually dark. The flowers are yellow, rarely white, appear in early autumn.
