Looking for a new way to view your images on the move? The Creative may just have the product for you. The digital entertainment product manufacturer has announced the release of the new ZEN Vision W, a portable video, photo and MP3 player.
The device features a high-resolution, 480 x 272 pixel, 4.3-inch, 16:9 format, colour widescreen TFT display for viewing up to 120 hours of digital video or 30Gb of photos, and up to 15,000 songs. Encased in magnesium, the ZEN Vision W has a built-in Compact Flash slot for importing photos from a digital camera. This Plug & View slot sits on the side of the player and supports both Type I and Type II Compact Flash media. An optional Compact Flash Adapter can plug directly into the slot to accept other memory cards including SmartMedia, MultiMedia Card and Secure Digital.
For video, the ZEN Vision W supports a selection of video formats, including MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4-SP, MJPEG, DivX 4 and 5 and XviD, for playback of video clips and movies downloaded from the internet. A removable rechargeable battery provides up to 4.5 hours of video playback.
The ZEN Vision W supports music subscription services such as Yahoo! Music Unlimited, Napster To Go, Urge and MSN Music. It also supports downloads from Internet music stores such as AOL Music Now, Napster, Yahoo! Music as well as spoken audio from Audible.com. The ZEN Vision W includes a built-in FM radio with 32 preset options.
