Getting a body piercing can be a little bit scary, but I'd imagine having Selena Gomez by your side would make things better. As it turns out, The Kissing Booth star Joey King had her costar's full support when she decided to get her ears pierced. (Joey and Selena both starred in Ramona and Beezus, which hit theaters in 2010.) According to the video below, the occasion was part of Joey's 10th birthday celebration. Such a throwback!

Recently, Seventeen.com got the chance to chat with Joey, and as you might expect, she was super sweet and funny! After talking about her first kiss with costar and IRL boyfriend Jacob Elordi, sequel predictions, and her favorite Flynn brother, we asked if she's stayed in touch with Selena or Taylor Swift, who she worked with for the singer's "Mean" music video. Her response will definitely tug at your heartstrings...
"I definitely haven’t seen those ladies in quite a long time, but every time we do, it’s the most exciting reuniting moment ever. Both of those girls are such amazing role models, and I’ve learned so much from them, especially when working with Selena. She is so graceful and so kind to everybody around her. I have always and I always will look up to her. She’s incredible," she said.
