iPhone dock extension?

Does anyone know of a decent dock extension for iPods and iPhones? I have a cover on my iPhone and an extension cable would be useful so I can use my phone in a dock - but there seem to be good ones and bad ones.

I just got one on eBay from a seller in the far east - works fine. I use it in the car as my iPod interface has a fat plug that doesn't work with cases very well.

Yup...That's what I'm on about.

That's why I'm asking... there's no point buying one if it won't do audio AND charging as that's what I need it for.

Thanks for that, but it's a dock extension that I'm after. Perhaps I'm using the wrong terminology....

Currently my iPhone won't fit into a wireless docking station as it has a cover on it, so I need something, a cable, that will plug into my iPhone and then onto and into the docking station. A socket that will go into the station and a male that will go into the phone.

Many cables out there, as pointed out above, won't handle audio, which was the point of me asking if anyone knew of a reliable one that might?
