Website usability is a key factor for SEO

Website usability is one of the more important factors for SEO to get your website ranked at the top of search results. Good navigation is one of the most important aspects of website usability. The best way to achieve good navigation these days is through website menus. Simple HTML or JavaScript menus tend to yield best results in providing users top notch website usability. This is because these simple menus tend to be consistent on all browsers and platforms and are easily accessible on mobile browsers and mobile apps. Aviapark.com presents users with a simple menu that is easy to navigate and understand. Quickly view the malls shops, restaurants, entertainment, promotions, events and more with a single click.

As trends become more popular their usage rates obviously increase. One of the more recent emerging trends has been the use of fixed menus. For those unaware of the term “fixed menu” — this refers to a menu which is fixed to a certain location. Commonly you will see menus fixed to the top of the page which stay fixed to the as you scroll down the page. Website usability can sometimes be one of the bigger, overlooked factors in website design. Every little bit counts and if users on your website can navigate to the page of their choice even a fraction of a second faster than your competitors, you will have a major SEO advantage.

This beautiful website design by the amazing, award-winning team over at Elje Group for Avia Park immediately draws users in with it’s fabulous colour scheme. For this modern website design, the team has gone with a navy blue-ish/grey-ish background and splashes of vibrant colours for the foreground. Combined you are left with a simple and effective colour scheme as the navy blue creates a beautiful contrast with the lighter, more vibrant foreground colours.

Upon first glancing at Aviapark.com, users quickly get a sense of how modern and innovative this shopping center truly is. Instead of taking a deep dive into the actual shopping center, our team is focused on the breath-taking modern website design, filled with amazing interactivity. For example, click on the “How to get there” button in the website header and you are shown a cool interactive map to make your next trip to the Avia Park shopping center a breeze.

Beautiful modern web design inspiration

Clearly our team is in love with the Avia Park website, but before you quit reading about it, we haven’t even told you about the best part. Avia Park does something many website attempt to achieve. Big businesses funnel millions of dollars into projects that don’t come out as well as this masterpiece by the Elje Group. Our design team has been drooling over the precision execution to bring this creative modern website design idea to life. To some this may be miniscule, but to the designers staring at a screen till their eyes hurt, just to come up with designs that push the boundaries of modern convention. To those people, this is big. They are not merely following trends like the rest of the herd. They are creating trends.

To any website designer out there, we don’t need to preach to you about the difficulty of this achievement. What’s this achievement that has our team oogling over you wonder? Avia Park is a perfect full width, full height designed website for their amazing map feature. Yes, we know that was quite the mouth full and maybe didn’t pack quite the punch you were waiting for. Mostly because you probably have no clue what that means. Just think about it for a second. Full width, full height…If you’re still thinking, its okay, let us explain.

Full width and full height website design means they have designed a website that spans the entire width of the browser, without extending beyond said normal width and done the same with the height. If it did extend beyond the normal 100% browser viewport width, you would see a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of your screen. Full width is very cool, but I’m sure you’re thinking in your head, so what? Every website is full-width and doesn’t extend beyond the normal width. Correct, but Avia Park goes a bit further with their full width design, as they use the entire screen real estate for their modern website design.

However, the more impressive part of that earlier statement is full height. This amazing website uses the entire height of the browser in the most perfect way possible without extending beyond the initial browser viewport. It’s an extremely difficult achievement that in this case has resulted in one of the most beautiful, easy to use, modern website designs. We believe this will be a website design trend that will emerge as more skilled designers graduate and enter the web design space. Take a look around Aviapark.com for inspiration on your next website design project.
