Oded Fehr – the devious villain of the Mummy film series – is joining the Marvel Universe for ABC's Agents of SHIELD spinoff.

The Israeli actor has been cast in the Marvel's Most Wanted pilot along with Brazlian actress Fernanda Andrade – although producers will only confirm that Fehr will play a 'well-known villain'.

"When Oded came in to read for this part, we knew we found our guy," producer Jeph Loeb revealed.

"He carries with him a villainous charm that will strike perfectly for this role."

Fernanda Andrade has been cast as the mysterious niece of Delroy Lindo's adventurer Dominic Fortune, who forms an uneasy alliance with SHIELD's Lance Hunter and Bobbi Morse.

The long-in-the-works pilot brings SHIELD veterans Nick Blood and Adrianne Palicki into their own ongoing drama.

ABC officially ordered a pilot in January, after originally passing on Marvel's Most Wanted last spring.
