Rewind five years and we can see that Demi has always had great style. The zebra leggings keep the outfit looking young and fun. The fact she's at an event involving cars, the chauffeur-esque hat is the perfect accessory. Cute!

Demi looks like a silver siren in this metallic mini. What was the occasion? The premiere of Hannah Montana: The Movie, in Leicester Square. A time when Miley Cyrus still had her long locks and Disney image.

OCEANS Premiere, 2010
This BCBG dress is one of our fave dresses that we've seen Demi wear. It's age appropriate (she was only 17 at the time) and a perfect fit. We're totally coveting the singer's shoe collection.

Disney's Friends for Change: Project Green Gulf Coast 2010
We're used to seeing Demi dressed up and red carpet ready, so it makes a change to see her relaxed. What have we learned about beach style? Grab a maxi, sunglasses, and a pair of flip flops and you're good to go. Was the singer sunbathing? Nope, she was doing her bit for charity. Her and the Camp Rock 2 cast were part of Project Green, to help clean up the Gulf Coast.

The singer and actress wore a striking yellow and nude BCBG dip-hem dress with colour coordinating Louboutin heels. The hue worked perfectly with her golden brown colouring.

The teen star wore a metallic silver jewel encrusted dress by Mandalay that showcased her curves to perfection at the MTV VMAs 2011.

Demi Lovato definitely turned heads at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards - just look at her! From her show-stopping dress to her look-at-me ponytail, she definitely didn't want to shy away from the attention. We love this look.

Demi Lovato, wore this black mini when she scooped up her moon man for Best Video With A Message, at the VMAs 2012. We love this LBD splashed with subtle sparkles she wore for the red carpet and her newly bleached blonde locks adds an edge to the look.

Demi Lovato chose this metallic dress for The X Factor USA Finale. We can't decide what colour it is. One minute it looks turquoise, the next bronze. That is very clever material. From the smile on her face, we know Demi has found a look that she's happy and confident in – which to us makes the perfect outfit.
