Lindström Rugs has debuted a line created in collaboration with celebrated designer Karim Rashid. Known for his bold, unconventional designs for the likes of Veuve Clicquot, Samsung, and Alessi, Rashid worked with company founder Erik Lindström to develop Korgamy, a series of angular patterns inspired by the Cubist movement.
“Korgamy has reinvented that style. Triangular geometric rugs aren’t anything new. But taking a century-old style of art and applying it, in conjunction with a modern approach, to formulate an original idea is,” explains Lindström. By designing a wide range of colorways, Lindström and Rashid offer options for both bold and subtle floors, all with an alluring dance of hue and shape.
