I chose this neck because it had pretty much everything I was looking for, 24 Fretz, locking nut, fits a Strat type body and the price is right. However, it does need quite a bit of work once you get it. You will need to work the frets, the nut is very cheap and needs to be replaced and you’ll have to adjust the truss rod. All in all, I can’t really complain with the price I got it for.
I couldn’t believe it would be well built at this price point, but scalloped frets are next to impossible to find without a $4,000 guitar stuck on one end. Had to give it a try. These are very well done, great finish—I was all prepped to dress the frets and re-varnish. Absolutely no need. A great buy.
