Joly's main concern is, in fact, to underline the visible as well as the hidden links of the Futurist ideas with the contemporary philosophies. As all the futurist manifestos, it can be considered as a fundamental piece of italian literature in general, as well as one of the most important programmatic document of the Futurist movement.
