Yes, but few and far between - think the one out of France is the best looking - but have never heard of or seen on in the US.

As i remember It was very very expensive. 5000 - 7000 euro! Or more!
I could be wrong, but i think they made it from old wreck demaged cars!

I think that price sounds about right - Not sure about the old wrecked cars -
Would probably go with old cheese and bad wine instead.

anyone have one pictured? sounds like it could be nice, but now that i think of it, where does the soft top go, since it doesn't disappear like the 6's and 7's...

That is the major bit of it all - You have to take the soft top OFF - No room, as the hard top won't fit on with the soft top down - Smeone need to come up with a Spyder like top for the standard cab that folds 100% out of the way so we can use the clam shell. Some one posted a pic of the hard top on here a while ago - Will do a quick search

Rennlight looks like they use to sell the hardtop option / but kind of a do it your self package - but, I have tried to contact with no luck - all emails returned-
Anyone know anything about Rennlight - looks like they offered several items for the 911 at one time

Found this on ebay (no affiliation), although Robert's factory hard top is much better looking (IMHO):
