About Michelle

The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am then I can move on.
Carl Rogers

I have been working as a psychotherapist since 2006 and in social work since 1998. My experience includes working in group homes for the developmentally delayed, the child welfare system, in-patient psychiatric units, substance abuse programs, with the Department of Education as well as in an outpatient mental health clinic. This history of experience has allowed me to build a vast understanding of person in environment and how various circumstances can impact overall functioning for each individual as well as their families.

I received my BA from CUNY College of Staten Island and a clinical MSW, Summa Cum Laude, from The University of South Florida. I hold clinical licenses in both NY & NJ.

I have also completed extensive training in MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) as well as having in-depth experience regarding issues of infertility.
