REVIEW: Garnier Pure Active Anti Imperfections Cooling Roll-on
3:43:00 AMHello! I'd like to share my thoughts on Garnier Pure Active Anti Imperfections Cooling Roll-on. I tempted to buy it because of its pack, roll on. It's easy to spread around problem area. So I bought it with cost IDR 36.000,- in Carefour, rather expensive for me :/
Product Description:
Anti Imperfections Action:
Concentrated in Purifying Salicylic Acid, its fresh non greasy formula quickly dries out imperfections instantly.
Anti Marks Fading Action:
Enriched with HerbaRepair, known for its regenerating and repairing properties, it helps to improve skin, minimise redness and fade out marks.
-Dermatologically tested on Asian acne-prone skin-
Visible efficacy:- In 5 hours, redness is reduced.
- In 2 days, imperfections and marks are visibly reduced.
Ingredients:
Aqua/water, alcohol denat, propylene glycol, glycerin, niacinamide, salicylic acid, acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylatecrosspolymer, camphor, capryloyl salicylic acid, menthol, sodium hydroxide, vaccinium myrtillus fruit extract, zinc gluconate, parfum/fragrance.
It contains menthol which is what I don't like about this product. It has cooling sensation on my skin, but it irritates my eye area. However, it doesn't have parabens :D
It comes in 15ml of roll-on
The ball is made of metal and it looks hygenic :)
It has watery clear texture and easily absorbed if you apply thin amount of it. Also, it has strong scent of alcohol.
Voila! it is absorbed
Usually, I use it overnight on problem areas. I apply thick amount of it and spread for amount 2 minutes until I'm sastified.
Results:
- Feels sticky on my skin when I apply thick amount of it.
- Cooling sensation on my skin.
- Irritates my eye area!
- Pimples are fade for a week and become acne marks.
- It doesn't work on acne marks.
To be honest, I am a little bit disappointed even though it works for a week usage. I still prefer Clean and Clear's acne gel instead.
In short, let me tell you its pros and cons.
Pros:
- It comes in roll on so it's easy to use and hygenic.
- No parabens and SLS.
- Watery texture.
- Cooling sensation.
- Easily absorbed if you apply thin amount of it.
- It banishes acne in a week.
Cons:
- Rather expensive (IDR 36.000,-).
- Strong scent of alcohol.
- Contains menthol.
- Irritates my eye area.
- Doesn't deal with its claims. It's said to banish acne from day 1 but the reality is, acne is banished after a week usage.
- Doesn't work on banishing acne marks.
Repurchase? NO! I still love Clean and Clear's more than this. I definitely not recommend this product for you.
