Altocumulus clouds are clouds that are formed from water droplets, and are found as gray puffy masses. These clouds are found in groups. If you see an altocumulus cloud on a very warm and humid day in the morning, you will see plenty of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Altocumulus clouds are found at about 6,500 feet to 18,000 feet.
