Winry Rockbell is the best friend of Edward and Alphonse throughout their childhood. Also a native of Risembool, she is often seen playing with Edward and Alphonse in pictures of flashbacks. In the present time of the series, she is seen to be a skilled Automail Mechanic, and she takes care of all of Edward's repairs. She also acts as the love interest of Ed throughout the anime and manga series.

She always hit Edward with her wrench.

Sometimes she seems to also hate Edward but she realize that she may like him.
