This 1993 BMW K1 is finished in blue and is powered by a 987cc inline-four paired with a five-speed transmission and an enclosed driveshaft. Features include a dry clutch, aerodynamic bodywork, a two-up seat, a color-matched removable passenger seat cowl, a center stand, a Paralever single-sided swingarm, triple anti-lock disc brakes with Brembo calipers, and locking storage compartments in the fairing and tail section along with an expandable tank bag. The bike spent time in Connecticut before it was acquired by the seller in October 2022. This K1 is now offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, a tool roll, two keys, a Bell helmet with a carrying bag, and a clean South Carolina title in the seller’s name.

The seller states that the motorcycle was refinished in it current share of Silk Blue with contrasting graphics under previous ownership. Equipment includes aerodynamic plastic bodywork and a two-up seat with a removable passenger seat cowl as well as a passenger grab handle, locking storage compartments on both sides of the tail section, and both center and side stands. Per the seller, the front fender and the fender extender were replaced and painted under previous ownership. Photos show chips and scratches on the lower bodywork along with a cracked lower fairing tab and stress cracks in the fairing.

Three-spoke alloy wheels measuring 17″ up front and 18″ out back wear Michelin tires. Suspension consists of a telescopic Marzocchi fork as well as a single-sided Paralever swingarm with a monoshock. Anti-lock braking is from four-piston Brembo calipers mounted over a pair of 305mm drilled floating rotors up front in addition to a Brembo caliper and a 285mm disc out back.

The black handlebar is secured beneath a console housing the ignition switch. Instrumentation consists of a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline. Fuel level and engine temperature gauges are located on either side of the inner fairing along with a locking storage compartment. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 24k miles, approximately 1,500 of which were ridden by the seller.

The 987cc DOHC inline-four features include fuel injection, four valves per cylinder, and a four-into-one exhaust system. The seller states that an oil change was carried out in August 2022.
