This Pontiac Tempest / LeMans got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1971 Pontiac LeMans Sport is finished in red over white and is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a Turbo Hydra-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. The car was delivered new to Ballston Motor Sales in Ballston Spa, New York, and was acquired by the seller in 2015. Features include a power-operated convertible top, custom side molding trim, power steering and brakes, 14″ Rally II wheels, power windows, and a push-button AM/FM Radio. This LeMans shows 28k miles and is offered in Beverly, Massachusetts with a window sticker copy, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The car was refinished in red and has a white power-operated convertible top. Features include concealed windshield wipers, dual exhaust outlets, bodyside, wheel opening, and rocker panel moldings, chrome front, and rear bumpers, and fender vent trim. There is a tear in the side of the convertible top, which shown in the gallery below.

The 14″ Rally II wheels are wrapped in 215/75 Hankook Optimo H724 thin whitewall tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front and rear drums.

The interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in white vinyl with matching door panels, a black dashboard, and black carpets. Equipment includes woodgrain trim, a locking glovebox, a center console with a floor-mounted shifter, and a push-button AM/FM radio.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 28k miles, approximately 3k of which were added by the current owner.

The 350ci V8 was factory rated at 250 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Turbo Hydra-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. Electronic ignition was installed in 2017, and the oil has been changed in preparation for sale.
