Well we've got beautiful weather here in Seattle for a few days, time for the hard top to come off. I've figured out a place to store mine, but I'm wondering where everyone else with a hard top stores theirs?

Your hard tops are always welcomed on my car. BTW Dale could these be your old wheels,

I saw a rig someplace that mounts to the ceiling and holds the top up by pullies.... _________________ Cosmo - 1985 BMW 325e, Single Owner, 265,000+ ORIGINAL miles and still going strong! But now on the East Coast and the salt air corrosion is eating my beautiful car alive...

Getting close, I'll get those pics up soon.
Robert: no, those aren't my wheels, they are true Alpina style, not the Kopi's I had. _________________ http://www.unofficialbmw.com

I mounted 2x RACOR bike rack lifts on the 10' ceiling in my garage, directly over where I usually park my cabrio.
Bent the rear hooks so they curve around the rear window a little better.
Pull the car under the lifts, pop the hardtop loose, apply blue paint tape to minimize chance of paint damage.
Slide hooks under the edges of the top, and pull gently on the hoist ropes.
Buy the lift at Amazon
